Lake Linden: William Arthur DeLisle, 68, former resident of Lake Linden, passed away at the Select Specialty Hospital of Mount Clemens on December 13, 2019, after a long illness.
He was born on May 10, 1951, a son of Anthony and Isabelle (Odgers) DeLisle.
Bill graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell High School in 1971.
He was a member of the Lake Linden United Methodist church where he sang in the choir. After his move to Lower Michigan, he was a member of the Madison Heights United Methodist Church. He enjoyed reading the Bible and attending Bible studies.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by: a brother-Robert (Jackie) DeLisle of Bolivar, TN; a sister-Mary Lou Ettinger of Warren, MI; a brother-Dennis DeLisle of Russell, KY; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 21, at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden with Pastor Larry Molloy to officiate. Visitation will be on Friday, December 20, from 5 until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Spring Burial will be at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Lake Linden.
Memorials may be made to the Lake Linden United Methodist Church or the Madison Heights United Methodist Church.
