Timothy Lawless

Lake Linden: Timothy Lawless, 73, resident of Lake Linden, passed away on May 9, 2025 from complications of dementia.

                Tim was born on April 16, 1952, a son of James, Sr and Lillian Lawless.  He was a graduate of Soo High School where he played football.

                He worked in logging, farming, truck driving, and road construction, before becoming a CNA and working at the Houghton County Medical Care until his retirement.

                He was married to Linda Lawless, and she passed away in 2019.  On June 12, 2020, Tim was married to Evelyn Lawless.

                Tim enjoyed hunting, camping, and bowling.

                He was preceded in death by: first wife-Linda, his parents, several brothers and sisters including sister-Mary, step-son-Vincent Kastar, brother-in-law and good friend-Jerry Fountaine.

                He is survived by: his wife-Evelyn of Lake Linden; son-Gary, daughters-Angie and Amanda; step-children-Kathy, Robin, and Keith; sister-Cathie Greene; brothers-Steve Lawless and Jerry Lawless; sister-in-law-Pat Lawless; special nieces-Lilly and also-Kelly Basto; and other nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He will be missed by his puppy-Lucy.

                The memorial service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 20th at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden, with Pastor Kelly Ylitalo to officiate.  Visitation will be for an hour before the service on Tuesday.
