Lake Linden: Skyler Fountaine, 30, of Lake Linden, passed away on November 15, 2024.
Skyler was born on May 18, 1994, a son of Earl, Jr. and Debra Fountaine. He graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell in 2012. He attended NMU and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. He was employed at the Baraga Prison, Matt’s Auto Glass, Marietta’s Auto, and Patriot Towing.
Skyler loved horses, hiking, boating, hunting, and dirt-bike and snowmobile racing. He liked spending time with his daughter, Aria, and his dog, Kingsley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kelsey.
He is survived by: his girlfriend-Haley Kaurala; daughter-Aria; brothers-Shawn (Stephanie) Kyllonen, Trenton Kyllonen, Chance Kyllonen, and James Marietta; sister-Heather Sigwald; aunts and uncles-Laura Reini, Shelly Puuri, Ron (Lynda) Fountaine, Edward (Debra) Fountaine, Nolan Palosaari, and Jason Palosaari; nieces and nephews-Josef, Kit, Talon, Hayden, Braylin, Avery, and Izayah; and many cousins.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at the Bootjack Fire Hall from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM on November 30, 2024.
