Shirley Ann Wareham

Tamarack City: Shirley Ann Wareham, 83, of Tamarack City, passed away at the Omega House on April 30, 2025, after a lengthy Illness.

     She was born on January 4, 1942, the daughter of Henry and Lorraine (Baril) King.  She graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School in Calumet.  
 

     Shirley worked at the Houghton County Medical Care, Our Lady of Mercy, Tony Burcar Contracting, and Lakes Pharmacy.
 

     She was married to Howard Wareham on February 24, 1968.  He passed on June 26, 2021.
 

     Shirley enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
 

     She was preceded in death by her parents, husband-Howard, and a son-Glenn.
 

     She is survived by: 2 children-Lisa (James) Cuffe of Tamarack City, Greg (Nan) Wareham of Howard, WI; 3 grandchildren-Joshua, Kayla, and Alyssa; and many other friends and relatives.
 

     The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Linden with Father Raju Jose to officiate.  Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden.
