Scott Moehrke

Lake Linden: Scott Moehrke, 51, of Lake Linden passed away on January 4, 2015, at his home after a long illness.

                He was born on March 16, 1963, a son of Violet (Alanen) and the late James Moehrke.  He attended the Lake Linden Catholic School and graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell High School in 1982.  He worked at Clouthier Sawmill in Dollar Bay and did home repair work in Florida.  For many years, he worked with his dad making firewood.  Scott loved to fish and hunt with his dad.  He especially enjoyed turkey hunting. Scott was well liked, good-hearted, and helpful to others.

                He was preceded in death by: his father-James, twin-brother-Steven, and all his grandparents.

                He is survived by-His mother-Violet of Lake Linden; a sister-Lori (Don) Carlson of Marquette; a nephew-Kyle Carlson of Marquette; 3 aunts, 1 uncle, and many cousins and friends.
