Rich Korhonen

Gay:  Rich Korhonen, 76, of Gay, passed away at Aspirus-Keweenaw Hospital on July 9, 2023, after a short illness.

                He was born on October 20, 1946, a son of Hugo and Jane Korhonen.  He graduated from Cody High School in Detroit.

                Rich served in the US Army in Vietnam.  He worked for Diebold for 32 years as a security technician.

                He was married to Christine (Phillips) Korhonen.

                He enjoyed listening to “rock ‘n’ roll” music.

                He is survived by: his wife-Christine, 2 children-Jennifer Clayton and Jeffrey Korhonen, and brothers- Jack of Texas and Gary of Tennessee.

                 A celebration of his life will be held at the family home, later this summer.   The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
