Hubbell: Ralph Hager, 54, of Hubbell, passed away at home, comfortably, with family by his side on February 1, 2016.
He was born on December 14, 1961 in Kansas, a son of Ralph, Sr. and Patricia (Clouthier) Hager. He attended Lake Linden-Hubbell High School. He worked for the Torch Lake Sewage Authority for over 30 years, where he enjoyed working with his coworkers and friends.
He was in dart league and pool league for the American Legion and also did darts for Mickey’s in recent years. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion. He loved to fish and camp. He enjoyed time spent with the “grandkids that he had without having kids.”
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by: his sister-Vickie (Keith Marttila) Hager of Lake Linden; uncle-Lawrence “Twin” Clouthier of Hubbell; the love of Ralph’s life-Debbie Lypsinmaa of Hubbell; step-children-Danielle Lypsinmaa, Ryan (Jessica) Lypsinmaa, Michael Lypsinmaa; 3 grandkids-Della, Levi, and Jade; Debbie’s parents-George and Bonnie Este of Hancock; and other friends and relatives.
The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, February 5 at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden with Fr. Francis Dobrzenski to officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 until the start of the service on Friday at the funeral home. Spring Burial will be at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Lake Linden.
