Obituary

Lake Linden: Paula Marie (Schick) Doll - Age 58, of Grand Blanc, died January 2, 2023.

Paula was born September 4, 1964 in Detroit, the daughter of Paul Francis Schick and Joan Marie (Roberts) Schick. She was a 1982 graduate of Lake Orion High School.

Paula met Joseph Doll at General Motors in Lake Orion. They married October 1, 1988. Paula had worked for Karmanos Cancer Institute.

She was a wonderful baker and the "sandwich queen". She enjoyed cross stitching and bowling. Paula was a good, wonderful and loving person. Paula had a giving and caring spirit, this showed with her work at Karmanos, and even at her death with donating through Gift of Life.

Paula is survived by her husband of 34 years, Joseph; mother, Joan Schick; 2 sisters, Debora (Jesse) Rodriguez, Stephanie Schick; niece, Chessie (Justin) Passmore; great nephew and niece, Dawson and Keliegh; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Paula was preceded in death by her father, Paul Frances Schick.

The committal service is tentatively planned for May at the Lake View Cemetery in Calumet.  The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
