Paula Jean Englund

Lake Linden: Paula Jean Englund, 34, of Julian, CA, formerly of Lake Linden, passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2019.

She was born on December 1, 1984, a daughter of Erick and Brenda (Schmitt) Englund.

She graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell High School and attended Northern Michigan University.  She worked at Hudson’s in Marquette and at various restaurants and craft breweries in California.  She was a cheerleader in high school and enjoyed participating in pool tournaments.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather-Melvin Schmitt and grandparents-Godfrey and Melba Englund.   

She is survived by: her parents, 2 sisters-Michelle Englund of Lake Linden and Ellen Englund of Midland, MI; signifigant other-Rob Graham; niece-Elizabeth Holzberger; grandmother-Ann Schmitt; and numerous friends and relatives.

Paula was full of life and a genuine friend.  She had a contagious smile and could light up a room by just being in it.  Her wish was that her organs be donated to help others.

Paula’s family will greet friends on Tuesday, August 20, from 6:00 until 8:00 at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden.
