Mike Adams

Lake Linden: Mike Adams, 43, of Lake Linden, passed away at his home on August 19, 2020, after a courageous battle with health problems. 

He was born on April 15, 1977, a son of Paul Adams and Yvonne Koory.  He attended Calumet Schools. 

Mike worked at many local restaurants, including Toni’s Country Kitchen, Quincy’s, Tamarack Inn, and Dairyland.  He also worked at the Schoolcraft Township Cemeteries. 

He was married to Sherry Franks on August 11, 2000. 

Mike had a sense of humor and was quick with a joke.  He had a gift for making people laugh, even during hard times.  He loved music and played the guitar and drums.  He enjoyed cooking, especially for kids' birthdays and for big gatherings. 

He was preceded in death by: his dad and grandma-June a.k.a. “Gugga” 

He is survived by: his wife-Sherry, 4 children-Kyle (Jamie), Brandon, Ambria, and Madison; 2 grandchildren-Mya and Brayden; his mother-Yvonne of Portage, WI; and his sister-Lisa of Potage, WI. 

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. 

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Sherry Adams to help with funeral expenses. 

 The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
