Maurice Lee Miller

Calumet: Tuesday, October 11, 2022, Maurice, aka ”Mo,” joined his wife, Marinette (2017).  He passed away under hospice care at Garden View Assisted Living in Calumet, MI.   He was born in 1932 in Indiana, married in France in 1955, and formerly of the Gwinn/Marquette area.  He served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in Gwinn.  He pursued a career with the State of Michigan, retiring as Quartermaster for the Marquette State Penitentiary System.

                In passing, Maurice was known as a generous man, always making sure his family was taken care of.  He leaves behind sons-Patrick and Christopher, (William is deceased), along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He will be missed by family and friends.
