Mary Beth Pomroy

Tamarack City: Mary Beth (Paulson) Pomroy, 72, of Tamarack City, passed away on November 19, 2024, at UPHealth System-Portage after a short illness.

                She was born on February 14, 1952, a daughter of Peter Alexander Paulson and R. Elaine (Nye) Forget.  She attended Saint Cecilia School in Hubbell and graduated from Dollar Bay High School in 1970.  She provided in home child-care to several local children over the years.  She enjoyed creating Halloween costumes and rented them to others.

                Mary was married to David Pomroy on July 15, 1972 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Hubbell.  He passed away on December 21, 2019.

                She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, and sister-Patricia Londo.

                She is survived by: siblings-Kathy (Phil) Huber, Sandy (Cliff) Milton, Joann (Bill) Griffin, Gina (Breeze) Stevens, Ed Forget, Rob (Liz) Forget, and Kaitlin (John) Bell; nieces and nephews-Christian Griffin, Lisa Beckman, Diane Ashcraft, Kevin Londo, Troy Londo, Tyler Forget, Tristyn Forget Vruwink, Desiree Forget, Chantel Forget, John Milton, and Jim Milton.

                In accordance with Mary’s wishes, private services will be held.  The Pearce Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
