Hubbell: Marguerite Raffaelli, 94, of Hubbell, passed away at Our Lady of Mercy in Hubbell on September 26, 2014.

She was born on November 25, 1919, a daughter of Edward and Lumina (Frenette) Hebert.

She was a graduate of Dollar Bay High School.  She worked for the Postal Service during World War II.  In her later years, she worked at Our Lady of Mercy as a Nurse’s Aide until her retirement.

On September 18, 1945 she was married to Bruno Raffaelli.  He passed away on June 19, 1970.

She had been a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Hubbell until it closed, when she became a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Linden.  She also had been a member of the Hubbell VFW ladies Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, her parents, a brother, and five sisters.

She is survived by: 2 sons-Michael of Hubbell and Robert (Beth) of Cleveland, WI; 2 grandchildren-Frank (Adele) of East Bethel, MN and Scott (Amanda) of Two Rivers, WI; 3 great-grandchildren-Sarah, Remington, and Aireana; a sister-Ruth Hebert of Calumet; and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Our Lady of Mercy for their kindness and care to mom in her final years.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 30 at St. Joseph Church in Lake Linden with Father Francis Dobrzenski to officiate.  At the request of Marguerite, there will be no public visitation.  Burial will be at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Lake Linden.  The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
