Lois Marie Monville

Calumet: Lois Marie Monville, 73, of Calumet, passed away at UP Health System-Marquette on January 26, 2018 with family by her side.

                She was born September 27, 1944, a daughter of Edward and Margaret Johnson.  She attended Calumet Schools.  She worked for Crown Cleaners in Houghton until her retirement in 2004.

                She was married to Ernest M. Monville on September 28, 1968.  He passed away on October 12, 1978.

                Lois enjoyed bowling.

                She was preceded in death by: her parents and husband, a brother-Carl Johnson and a sister-Louella Palonen.

                She is survived by: 3 daughters-Pamela (Gary) Frederick of Hubbell, Kristina (Michael) Kupari of Calumet, Cherie Monville of Calumet; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister-Estelle Rantanen of Calumet; best friend-Barbara Junttonen of Calumet; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

                The Funeral Liturgy will be at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, February 2, at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden with Father Joseph Boakye-Yiadom to officiate.  Visitation will be from 5:00 until the start of the service at the funeral home.
