Tamarack City: Linda Ann Lawless, 69, of Tamarack City, passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2019, doing what she loved most, hunting.
She was born on October 20, 1949, a daughter of Earl and Elverna Fountaine. She attended St. Cecilia Catholic School and Dollar Bay High School.
She was a nurse’s aide at the Houghton County Medical Care Facility for 34 years, the last 15 of those years were in the Woodland Haven wing.
She enjoyed bowling, gardening, camping, and hunting.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband-Keith Adams, a daughter-Shirley, a grandson-Travis, and a brother-Earl.
She is survived by: her husband-Tim of Tamarack City; 3 children-Kathy (Jerry) Puuri of Atlantic Mine, Robin Clairmont of North Dakota, and Keith (Teresa) Adams of Houghton; 3 step-children-Gary Lawless and Angie (James) Smith of the Twin Cities, and Amanda (Mike) Cruickshank-Willoughby of Chicago, IL; 3 brothers-Jerry, Ron, and Ed; a sister-Shelly; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other relatives.
The Funeral Liturgy will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the start of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Lake Linden.
