Leo Gruber

Calumet: Leo Gruber, 46, of Calumet, passed away as a result of a fire at his residence on January 27, 2018.

                He was born on June 7, 1971, a son of George and Nancy Gruber.  He graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell Schools.  He worked as a residential painter.

                Leo liked to fish and play the guitar.  He loved his daughters and the outdoors more than anything and he had a witty sense of humor.

                His daughter, Kelley says “Dad called me his flower and made me feel like a one-of-a-kind person.  I will never forget his kindness he shared with those he loved most.”

                He is survived by: 3 daughters-Brandy (Jeremy) Hilss, Kelley Gruber, and Hannah Gruber; and sisters-Billie Jo and Pattie Jo.

                A Memorial Service is planned for the summer of 2018.  The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
