Bootjack: Kenneth Steven Kaurala, age 59, passed away peacefully, at his brother’s home in Bootjack, surrounded by family on April 28, 2016.
He was born on February 19, 1957, in Detroit, a son of Ken and Josephine Kaurala. He was a graduate of Michigan Technological University in Electrical Engineering.
He loved Detroit Tigers Baseball and playing the accordion.
Kenneth’s family wishes to thank the staff at Aspirus at Home Hospice Care.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by: his mother; a brother-Gregory (Irina) Kaurala; and two nephews-Gregory A. Kaurala and Stephen P. Kaurala, all of Bootjack.
No public services will be held. The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
