Katherine Steiger

Lake Linden: Katherine Steiger, 90, passed away at Canal View-Houghton County on December 21, 2020.  

She was born on October 23, 1930, a daughter of Carl and Lillian Katherine (Laity) Steiger.  She graduated from high school in Grosse Pointe.  She worked for J. Walter Thompson Advertising Agency in Lower Michigan.  Later, she moved to Lake Linden to be with her parents.  She worked at Michigan Tech for 22 years until she retired.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, brothers-Charles Patrick Steiger and Frank Robert Steiger ; and sisters-in-law-Mary Steiger and Adele Steiger.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

In the Spring, Katherine will be buried with her parents at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Lake Linden.   The Peace Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
