JoAnn Rule

Lake Linden:  JoAnn “JoJo” (Miller) Rule, 65, of Lake Linden passed away at the Omega House on Monday, February 24, 2020, after an 8 year courageous battle with cancer.

                JoAnn was born on February 21, 1955, a daughter of Beatrice and John Miller.  She graduated from Houghton High School and began her career as a C.N.A. at a local nursing facility, continuing for 38 years.  JoAnn was a caring and generous person who loved her family and friends, gardening, sewing, humming birds, butterflies, road trips, camping and crafts.

She is survived by: her husband-Greg, son-Clay Hixson, siblings-Christine Holland, Marie (Gary) Hable, John (Suzanne) Miller, Pauline (Beth) Miller, and Glen (Val) Miller, an aunt-Mary (Pat) Cornish, along with many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Liturgy will be at 8:00 P.M. on Friday, February 28, at The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden with Fr. John Martignon to officiate. Visitation will be on Friday, beginning at 6:00 P.M. until the start on the funeral.
