Tamarack City: Glenn Wareham, 60, of Tamarack City, passed away tragically, on March 6, 2023.
He was born on June 10, 1962, a son of Howard and Shirley (King) Wareham. He was on the Regional Champions-Dollar Bay basketball team of 1979. He graduated from Dollar Bay-Tamarack City High School in 1980, where he had been listed among the Who’s Who of High School Students with a high ACT Test score. He earned a 4 year scholarship to attend Michigan Tech, but in 1983, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. Glenn served in the Air Force for 20 years, with a tour in Operation Desert Storm. He served as an electronics technician and instructor, and he retired in 2003 as a Master Sergeant. After he retired, he moved to Green Bay and worked as an electronics technician for the National Weather Service.
He was united in marriage to Laurie Grezetich in 1988. They were married for 23 years. The happiest time of Glenn’s life was when they brought their daughter, Alyssa Marie into the world on August 1, 1997. Alyssa was Glenn’s world and he was always so proud of her.
He was an avid Packer Fan. He enjoyed playing cribbage, golfing, cooking for his family and friends, and most of all, spending time with his daughter.
He was preceded in death by his father-Howard, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He is survived by: his daughter-Alyssa Wareham (Brock) of Green Bay; mother-Shirley, sister-Lisa (James) Cuffe of Tamarack City; brother-Greg (Nan) Wareham of Howard, WI; nephew-Josh Grabig; niece-Kayla Wareham; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
