Lake Linden: Frank Chandler, Jr., 80, of Lake Linden, passed away after heart complications at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium on January 27, 2017.
He was born on February 27, 1936 in Pahokee, FL.
He worked as a journeyman for 19 years at Anaheim Memorial Hospital in California. He also worked preparing electrical systems for some notable movie sets and he even transported some movie stars.
He was married to Shirley Chandler on March 7, 1987.
He was an amazing bowler and he loved golf. He had a “green-thumb” and loved his garden.
He is survived by his wife-Shirley of Lake Linden; 5 children-Joe (Patty), Shirl (Ron), Janie, Teri (Mike), Duke; 11 grandchildren-Jack, Jolena, James, J.J., Andrew, Matt, Chris, Jessie, Linsey, Sidney, Tyler; 4 great-grandchildren-Zoey, Jazmyn, Hunter, and Josilena.
There will be no public services. The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is assisting the family.
