Frances "Cookie" Mills

Lake Linden: Frances “Cookie” Mills, of Lake Linden, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016, following a long illness.
She was born on February 25, 1943, in White Lake, Wisconsin, to George and Eunice Simmons. At a young age, she was placed with her parents-Marvin and Ione Holtz.
She was a graduate of Gresham High School in Gresham, Wisconsin. She was married to Gary J. Mills on November 15, 1963 in Mohawk, MI.
She was preceded in death by: her husband-Gary; parents-Marvin and Ione Holtz; sister-Marie Myers; brother-George Simmons; sisters-in-law-Margaret Rheault, Doris Hocking, and Frances Harmala.
She is survived by: three children-Gary Mills of Lake Linden, Debbie and Gregg Birmingham of West Bend, WI, and Charles and Jennifer Mills of Lake Linden; grandchildren-Shawn Mills, Dontae, DeJanae, and DeAndrae Birmingham, Ally and Little Ben, Gabby, and Connor; a sister-Audrey and Robert Arlin of Antigo, WI; a brother-Merle Simmons of Appleton, WI; a sister-in-law-Jean and Royce Paquette of Cudahy, WI; and a brother-in-law-Fritz Hocking of Manitowoc, WI.
The memorial service will be at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 11, at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden with Rev. Aaron Gehrke to officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home for an hour before the service on Tuesday.
