Dr. Nancy Assunta Gemignani, R.N., Ph.D.

Twin Lakes: Dr. Nancy Assunta Gemignani, RN., Ph.D., age 92, of Twin Lakes, Michigan, quietly passed away on Tuesday afternoon, November 11, 2025, in the arms of her son, Rick.  Rick had been her full time care giver for the last 10 years.  They had lived in the Twin Lakes area since 1972.

                Nancy was born in Hancock on March 26, 1933.  She was the daughter of Gino and Bianca “Blanche” Gemignani of Gino’s Restaurant.  She was a graduate of Hancock High School, class of 1951.  She was a graduate of the St. Joseph’s School of Nursing and remained an RN her entire life.  She was also a Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor at NWTC in Green Bay, WI and Gogebic College.

                Nancy liked to golf, but her true love was to care for people.  Her family was always her first priority.

                She was preceded in death by: her parents, sisters-Gloria and Mary, and a brother-Rudy.

                Nancy is survived by: a son-Rick of Twin Lakes, brother-Gino, Jr. of Green Bay, WI, and a sister-Patricia Chermak of Blanche Lake, MN.

                A celebration of life will be planned for the summer of 2026.  The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be shared at peacefuneralhome.com
