Charles Don Hannula, 84, died peacefully Sunday, April 17, 2016 at home in Rabbit Bay, MI surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 65 years, Jessie “Jo” of Rabbit Bay, sons Donald “Don” (Deborah) of Lake Linden, Mark (Leslie) of Rabbit Bay, Eric (Sandra) of Holly, Scott (Kim) of Rabbit Bay, and daughter, Kathy (Chris) of Bainbridge Island, WA; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer, Craig, Joshua (So-yeon), Ashlee, Sean, and Brandon. He is also survived by his sisters Bonnie, Sharon, brother Terry (LaDonna), nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends.
A celebration of his life will be held in Rabbit Bay during the summer. Memorial donations may be made in Don’s name to Bootjack Fire and Rescue or the Omega House in Houghton, Michigan.
