Betty Stubenrauch

Bootjack: Betty Stubenrauch, 79, of Bootjack, passed away at the home of her daughter in Hubbell, with her family by her side on Monday, October 13, 2014.

                She was born on February 28, 1935, in Detroit, a daughter of Oscar and Alma (Koskela) Mackey.  She attended schools in Detroit.  She was a homemaker and worked at numerous local jobs. 

                She married Gordon Stubenrauch in Detroit on January 21, 1956.

                Betty enjoyed oil painting. She loved the outdoors, especially horseback riding, camping, and skiing.  She had a soft heart for animals and loved dogs and cats.

                She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister-Elaine Smith, and a niece-Karen Minetti.

                She is survived by: her husband; 2 daughters- Cindy (Darrell) Hendrickson of Hubbell and Donna Destrampe (Dave Koski); grandchildren-Jessica and Kyle Bonini, Jared Hendrickson and Kelly Lindgren, Jeana Hendrickson and Reece Anderson, and Joshua Hendrickson; 2 great-grandchildren-Blake and Shaylynn; special niece-Debbie Kiviniemi; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

                At Betty’s request, there will be no funeral service.

                The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is assisting the family.
