Hancock: Audrey L. (Moyle) Romnek, 75, of Hancock, passed away at Mission Point on March 31, 2022, with her sister by her side.
She was born July 9, 1946, in Laurium, a daughter of Raymond and Elizabeth (Rowe) Moyle. She was a graduate of Lake Linden-Hubbell High School. She moved to Milwaukee after graduation, where she worked for Port Terminal Storage.
She was married to Robert Romnek on May 12, 1973, at the Lake Linden Methodist Church. Audrey moved back to the Copper Country after Robert passed in 1993.
Audrey was a member of the Lake Linden Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed working on craft projects.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, parents, and 2 brothers-Edward “Butch” and James "Skeezix."
She is survived by her sister-Nancy (John) Zurcher of Hancock along with many cousins.
The graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 30, at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Lake Linden with Pastor Nelson Hall to officiate. The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
