Armas M. “Sonny” Olli, Jr. Obituary

Tamarack City:  Armas M. “Sonny” Olli, Jr., 68, of Tamarack City, passed away at the Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital on September 28, 2020, with family by his side. 

He was born on January 18, 1952, a son of Armas and Bernice (Jarvela) Olli.  He was a graduate of Dollar Bay-Tamarack City High School.  He worked for multiple local businesses, primarily at the Northern Lights Party Store in Tamarack. 

He had been married to his high school sweetheart, Beverly (LePine) Olli.  Although they parted ways, they remained friends. 

Armas enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking, photography, and time with his grandkids. 

He was preceded in death by: his father, his former spouse-Beverly, and a granddaughter-Addelyn. 

He is survived by: 3 children-Jennifer Heikkinen, Jacob (Melissa) Olli, and Nichole (Brad) Buschell; grandchildren-Andrew, Kailyn, and Donovan Heikkinen, Everly and Bria Olli, Kane and Kingston Buschell; his mother-Bernice Olli; 3 sisters-Marlene Seppala, Carol Poisson, and Rae (Dave) Pechawer; dear friend-Sheri Prom; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Due to Covid restrictions, private family funeral services will be held at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden.
