Hubbell: Allen J. Beaudoin, 68 of Hubbell, passed away on November 21, 2014, at home following a lengthy illness.
Allen was born on August 2, 1946, a son of Theophile and Delia (Paquette) Beaudoin. He attended St. Cecilia School in Hubbell and graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell Schools in 1964. He worked at Gibb City in Ripley and for many years at Horner Flooring.
He was married to Nancy Mertz on June 20, 1970 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Hubbell.
He loved to play the accordion and he loved classic and hot-rod cars. He enjoyed going to Victoria’s for breakfast, visiting with friends, and “mall walking.”
He was preceded in death by: his parents, a brother-Bernard Beaudoin, and nieces-Kim and Patty.
He is survived by: his wife-Nancy of Hubbell, 3 children-Fran (Amanda) of Tamarack, Amy (Rob) Beaudoin of Lake Linden, and Steve Beaudoin of Chassell; 7 grandchildren-Joshua, Ethan, Kristal, Kaylee, Kendra, Matthew, and Tyler; 2 great-grandchildren-Brooklyn and Ryder; sister-Jean Kowalski of Isle Royale Loc.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Liturgy is planned for 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 25 at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden with Fr. Francis Dobrzenski to officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 until the time of the service.
