Tamarack City: Peggy Lamorand, 63, of Tamarack City, passed away at her home on June 27, 2019, after a long battle with cancer.
She was born on May 14, 1956, a daughter of Lawrence and Margaret Johnson. She graduated from Hancock Central High School in 1975. She worked for 26 years at the Houghton County Medical Care Facility.
Peggy was married to Robert F. Lamorand on September 20, 1975 at St. Joseph-St. Patrick Church in Hancock.
She enjoyed time spent with family, especially the grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by: her husband-Robert; 3 children-Dana Lamorand of Dollar Bay, Robert A. Lamorand of Kearsarge, and Jason T. Lamorand of Tamarack; 4 grandchildren-Logan Greenlaw, Ryan Lamorand, Isaac Brinkman, and Jaxon Lamorand; 5 brothers and sisters-Edward (Mary) Zellner, Robert (Christine) Zellner, Christine (Bob) Parsons, Karen Koski, and Laura Rivest, along with numerous other family members.
A private funeral service will be held at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden with Pastor Jared Howard to officiate.
