Christine Marie Gamache

Lake Linden: Christine Marie Gamache, 44, of Lake Linden, went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2018.

                She was born on May 15, 1974, in Westminster, Maryland, a daughter of Richard Gamache and Florence (Gamache) Lewis.   She graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell Schools in 1992.

                Christine worked as an announcer for a local radio station.  She also worked as an artist, preparing signs and artwork for local events and the community.  She was the mom of three daughters.

                She enjoyed years of berry picking, gardening, crafting, and artwork.  She was known for her cooking.  She was quick-witted, quiet, and beautiful.  She was known and will be missed by many.

                Her daughter, Kelley says “My mom has blessed me with her intelligence and artistic talent.”

                She was preceded in death by: her father-Richard, sister-Wanda, 2 brothers-Bobby and Rocky, and her former husband and the father of her children-Leo Gruber.

                She is survived by: 3 daughters-Brandy (Jeremy) Hilss, Kelley (Darren) Gruber, and Hannah (Tommy) Gruber; mother-Florence Lewis; sister-Laura (Rodney) LaRoux; brother-Dean (Lisa) Gamache; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  

               The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is assisting the family.  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, donations for the family of Christine Gamache or Leo Gruber may be sent to the Pearce Funeral Home, PO Box 115, Lake Linden, MI 49945.
