Carol Ann Dennis

Lake Linden: Carol Ann (Chandonais) Dennis, 81, of Lake Linden, passed away at the Green Tree of Hubbell on February 15, 2019. 

                She was born on June 3, 1937, a daughter of Louis and Margaret Chandonais.  She was a graduate of Lake Linden-Hubbell High School.  She worked at the Houghton Kmart store.  She was a Schoolcraft Township Trustee for many years.  She also helped her husband at Dennis’s Greenhouse in Lake Linden.

                She was married to Martin Dennis on June 23, 1957 at Holy Rosary Church in Lake Linden.

                Carol was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Linden where she was a religious education teacher and served on the Altar Society.

                She was an artist and she enjoyed painting.  She loved her family, especially her grandkids.

                She was preceded in death by-her parents, her brother-David Chandonais, and 4-legged-friend-Sunny.

                She is survived by: her husband-Martin Dennis of the Green Tree of Hubbell; 2 children-Anthony M. Dennis of San Diego, CA and Tammy (Donald Manninen) Wallar of Trimountain; 2 grandchildren-Jesse McMichael of Lake Linden and Amanda McMichael of Laurium; brother-Louis (Carol) Chandonais; sister-in-law-Mary Ann Chandonais; Aunt-Patricia (William) Wood; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

                The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 22 at Saint Joseph Church in Lake Linden with Father Joseph Boakye Yiadom to officiate.  Luncheon will follow in the church hall.  The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
