Berniece “Dolly” Nordstrom

Jacobsville: Berniece “Dolly” Nordstrom, 83, former resident of Jacobsville, passed away on October 25, 2017 at the Lighthouse at Hubbell.
She was born on December 17, 1933, a daughter of Waino and Emma Moilanen. She graduated from Highland Park High School in Highland Park, Michigan.
Dolly was married to Gordon A. Nordstrom in Detroit in 1952. Later, they retired to Jacobsville. Gordon Passed away on November 7, 1999.
Dolly enjoyed and loved life.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, and a daughter-Cindy (Robert) Miller.
She is survived by: 3 children-Carl Nordstrom and Thomas Nordstrom, both of San Francisco, CA and Lynn Mervien of Saratoga Springs, NY; 2 grandchildren; and many other relatives.
A private funeral ceremony for immediate family will be held. The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
